Whether your cat is spunky and sociable or more low-key and introverted, we’ve got a space that allows them to feel comfortable in their own fur. With many years of boarding experience, we’ve taken EVERYTHING into consideration like specially designed rooms called “Feline Flats.” These spacious, single-level living quarters accommodate the needs of geriatric cats or those who have difficulty climbing.

Multiple times throughout the day, all guests will enjoy a rotating social and exercise schedule. And when it’s time to kick their paws up and relax, the floor to ceiling window views will provide a sense of serenity. Various sounds of water fountains, birds, and soothing music allows our guests to experience a sense of calm we humans hope to achieve. The Cat Chalet is more than a place to stay, it is a lifestyle defined by luxury.


Guests in our Terrazza garden plaza will find their inner feline zen. The waterfall and secret garden offer serene backdrops for cozying up and the spacious courtyard provides ample space for exercise. This garden plaza also features our Feline Flats, luxurious single-level quarters perfect for guests who prefer not to climb a multi-level Chalet.


As our largest village, guests will never run out of areas to explore or nooks for lounging. Stunning mountain views will make your feline feel like he or she is on top of the world. But wait, there’s more! From tropical birds to classical music, our accommodations incorporate a soundtrack of delightful audible sensations. We really do think of everything.


Bird watching, mountain views and stargazing, oh my! Giving a tummy rub a run for its money, our little Abruzzo village invites guests to cuddle up inside or outside their Chalet. Our luxurious little sofa and climbing cat tree will leave your cat feeling on top of the world!


With low occupancy rates and around the clock window views, your feline will get the V.I.P. (Very Important Purrrson) treatment every time they stay in our Lazio village. A comfy, little stove instills a feeling of comfort and relaxation. Perfect for a cat nap or daydreaming about what part of the Chalet to explore next, these accommodations exceed expectations.


This village lives up to its name. Serving up the charm of Italy, guests will ooh, ahh, and meow at window views with ample bird watching opportunities and maritime pleasures. While it may be tempting these fish are for watching, not for eating. The Chalets in this village are limited, inviting guests to enjoy a feeling of exclusivity and multiple daily rotations outside their abode.

Boarding Requirements

All cats staying with us are required to have current FVRCP & Rabies vaccinations. Proof of vaccinations must be sent to us prior to check-in. Vaccination certificates may be emailed to us at:

Cats over 4 months old must be spayed or neutered.

Daily Chalet Rates

All boarding fees are calculated by the DAY, beginning with the day of check-in and ending with the day of check-out. This allows clients to arrive at any time during the day that is convenient, without any additional charges.


First-Time Clients

  • Please contact us at (775) 800-1056 to book your reservation or come in for a tour!
  • A resort fee of $50 is collected from all first-time clients at the time of reservation. The resort fee is non-refundable, however, it is applied as a credit to your total boarding costs at check-in.

Return Clients 

  • Use our convenient texting hotline. Of course, you’re welcome to call us if you prefer! 
  • Conveniently book your reservations without a resort fee!


Payment: All boarding fees are due at check-in. Payment options include: cash, local check, Visa, MasterCard or debit cards.


Preferred Check-in/out Times: Monday – Saturday 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Clients arriving during our regular lobby/office hours do not need an appointment, just show up during this time frame if it’s convenient for you.

Scheduled Check-in/out Times (by appointment only): For your convenience, you may check-in/out during the following times by scheduling an appointment. While our lobby/office is closed during these times, we are on-site tending to the needs of our guests so we are available to assist you.

  • Monday – Saturday 7:30 am – 10:00 am
  • Monday – Saturday 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
  • Sunday 7:30 am – 2:00 


  • While our lobby/office is closed on the below listed holidays, clients are able to check-in/out by appointment from 7:30 am – 2:00 pm.
  • Arrangements must be made at the time you book your reservation. 
  • Rest assured that our feline guests will receive full room service, feeding/medication schedules and exercise time 365 days a year regardless of holidays!

The Cat Chalet Vacation Checklist

Provide us with your cat’s vaccination certificate (Must be provided prior to the day of check-in)

Emergency contact phone numbers (How we can reach you while you are away and also a local contact person, such as a friend, relative or neighbor.)

A hard plastic travel-safe carrier (Lined with a small towel for your cat’s comfort. Multiple cat households need to bring cats to us in separate carriers for their safety, as well as ease in transporting)

Food & Treats (Bring a few days extra food supply in the event your travel plans change)

Medications (Bring at least 3 days extra medication supply, as well as syringes, in the event you are delayed in returning home)

Favorite toys

If your cat has a bed from home, please bring it with you. You may also bring a bedding item with a scent from home, such as a small blanket, your T-shirt, etc.

  • Insulin Injections $5 each injection

  • Nail Trim (morning of check-out) $15/all four paws

  • Food preparation and health monitoring are included in your regular boarding fee.
  • Do you have a cat who is diabetic or has another special need? Ask us about additional services available to keep your special needs or diabetic cat as happy and healthy as can be!
  • Transportation: Busy travel schedules call for a little extra help in making your plans fall into place. If you need assistance in getting your cat to our resort, contact us to make arrangements.

CANCELLATION POLICY: As you may already know, we are very flexible when it comes to changes in your travel schedule and personal plans. To assist us in making our services available to other clients, we ask that you give us as much notice as possible in the event your plans change. We do, however, have a cancellation fee of $50 for any cancellations with less than 72 hours notice of your check-in date for the following holidays/dates: Independence Day (June 30th – July 8th), Thanksgiving (anytime from the weekend before through the weekend after), Christmas/New Year (December 15th – January 3rd).
